About the deck

This beautiful deck was printed in 1880 by the Italian paper company of Serravalle Sesia, a small town in the province of Vercelli, in Piedmont. Since the sixteenth century, Serravalle Sesia had paper factories that supplied the printers of the region, but the first news of playing cards produced there dates back to 1736.

About the box and the edition

Each box is branded and hand-painted with an aging technique that gives it a vintage look. Because the painting is done by hand, every box has its own character.
