WHO IS THE SUN, ARCANUM 19 OF THE TAROT OF MARSEILLE?
The Sun, the nineteenth of the Major Arcana in the Tarot of Marseille, represents a luminous star that embodies a human face with eyes, nose and mouth: it illuminates the earth and its rays seem to irradiate this card dominated by the colour yellow with light.

Unlike the Moon, the drops appear to flow from the Sun to the Earth and symbolize warmth and fertility.

The Sun brings man the energy and riches necessary for his well-being.

If the Moon refers to the maternal figure, the Sun refers to masculinity, to the face of the father.

At the bottom, two children stand facing each other and seem dazzled by the sun's rays: they appear happy and protected, evoking carefreeness and happiness.
