WHO IS THE POPESS, ARCANUM 2 OF THE TAROT OF MARSEILLE?
The High Priestess is the second Major Arcana of the Tarot of Marseille.

The number 2 symbolizes the feminine universe: it represents a woman of a certain age sitting with a book on her knees, covered by a large blue cape under which a red dress can be seen.
The woman appears rested and expresses great maturity.
He holds a book on his lap, but he doesn't look at it: this is one of the key points of the card.
The book represents knowledge and the look of the Popess suggests that SHE holds the key to it.
On her red dress, two yellow stripes can be seen that have the shape of a lock: the lock leads to knowledge and everyone's duty is to find the key.
