What are the 7 Chakras?
Share
Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel” or “disc” and indicates one of the seven basic energy centers in our human body.
Chakras are human energy points (or Centers), sometimes associated with the main nerve ganglia, which branch out from the spinal column, or physical organs, between which variously defined energy (Prana) moves and knowledge of which is transmitted by many systems of Yoga, in the various Hindu and Buddhist traditions.
Many traditions agree that the chakras act as energetic valves.
Their main function is to absorb Universal Energy, metabolize it, nourish the auras and release energy outward.
All 7 Chakras are connected to specific endocrine glands and plexuses of the sympathetic system of the physical body, through which they communicate and supply the energy of the "etheric body" to the "physical body" to support it in its functioning.
But not only that: in fact they are also the connection of the other subtle bodies such as the "soul" and intellectual ones, which respond with nervous stimulation to the reading of reality perceived by the senses.
Maintaining the functional balance of the 7 Chakras is also very important: in fact, they can be rebalanced through the mantras associated with them.
These meditative practices keep their functions and the flow of vital energy into the physical body in excellent working order.
Mantralizing means emitting a sound produced by one or more phonemes by making them vibrate through vocal modulation in the area of the relevant Chakra: this vibration is perceptible in the physical body and must be associated with a thought relating to the quality expressed by the Chakra on which you are mantralizing.
